Eduardo Gutterres - Booking Assistant & Digital Strategist

Eduardo Gutterres is a Brazilian arts administrator, educator, and guitarist based in New York City. Passionate about connecting people through music, he is dedicated to building meaningful relationships between artists, audiences, and organizations.

Originally from Porto Alegre, Brazil, Eduardo moved to New York to pursue his graduate studies at the Manhattan School of Music with scholarships from both Manhattan School of Music and Cultura Artística, one of Brazil’s leading cultural institutions. He is currently completing his Doctor of Musical Arts degree and served as a chamber music coach for undergraduate and graduate students through a school assistantship.

As a performer, Eduardo has appeared throughout the United States, Europe, and South America, including performances at Carnegie Hall, the United Nations General Assembly, and the Brazil-US Chamber of Commerce. His work has earned international recognition, including the Citi Award for Young Promising Brazilian Musicians, presented by Citigroup Brazil, as well as top prizes in competitions in both Brazil and the United States. He is in the roster of artists sponsored by Augustine Strings, the world's first nylon guitar string company and one of the leading brands in the classical guitar industry.

Beyond performing, Eduardo has developed extensive experience supporting artists and arts organizations. Through his work with Concert Artists Guild and the Bloomingdale School of Music, he has gained experience in artist services, audience engagement, event coordination, project management, and career development.

Eduardo is also the host and producer of the Augustine Strings podcast, where he interviews internationally renowned guitarists, Grammy Award winners, and leading figures in the guitar world. As an Augustine Strings collaborator, he has represented the company for three consecutive years at the Guitar Foundation of America Convention - New York (2023), Fullerton (2024) and Louisville (2025) - serving as a brand ambassador and building relationships with artists, educators, presenters, and industry leaders from around the world.

His dedication to community was recognized with the Josephine Whitford Award from the Manhattan School of Music, presented to the student who contributed most significantly to the spirit of the school. The award reflects his belief that successful artistic careers are built not only through excellence, but through collaboration, generosity, and genuine human connection.

Outside of music, Eduardo is a huge sports fan, especially soccer. As a Brazilian, this is definitely not a surprise. He loves both following the Brazilian league and playing pickup games around New York City.
