Bénédicte Jourdois

A graduate of the Lindemann Young Artist Development Program at The Metropolitan Opera, Bénédicte Jourdois is currently on faculty at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia and at the Manhattan School of Music, and is the principal pianist at Opera Philadelphia.

An active festival musician, Ms Jourdois has been working at the Chautauqua Institution Summer program since 2008, at the Castleton Festival since 2011, and worked at the Spoleto Festival USA from 2011 to 2013.

Ms Jourdois has performed both as a soloist and a collaborative pianist in numerous venues in Europe and in the United States, including Alice Tully Hall and Carnegie Hall in New York and the Kennedy Center in Washington, and has worked in major North American opera houses such as the Pittsburgh Opera and the Houston Grand Opera.

Born in Paris, Ms Jourdois holds degrees from the Conservatoire National de Region de Saint-Maur, the Conservatoire National Superieur de Musique de Lyon, Mannes College, and the Juilliard School
