ABOUT the artists:
American baritone Brian Mulligan sings regularly with the leading opera houses and orchestras of North America and Europe. He is equally renowned as an interpreter of classic works by Verdi, Wagner, and Strauss as well as of the most challenging twentieth and twenty-first century operas.
“I believe that some of the greatest music the world has ever heard has yet to be composed. So, when I have a visceral response to music from composers who are alive, I do all I can to encourage them to continue creating. I have been so inspired by the works of Mason Bates, Missy Mazzoli and Gregory Spears, and it is my absolute joy to introduce the world to this collection of their gorgeous, emotive, meaningful songs.” - Brian Mulligan
